Stolen Ideas of Sentimentallity

Memory Lane

Okay, I admit it, I stole this idea from a friend (I even copied her picture), but it sounds fun.

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Don't Mess With The Bull

Last weekend, Josh and Beck decided to go up against me and my nearly limitless knowledge of movies, actors, several books, etc. Here I will prove, yet again, that I am almost always right.

They believed that Christian Bale is American, I told them he was Welsh. They still were adament in believing me to be mistaken despite me spewing several of the facts featured tbelow.

Snippets of info on CHRISTIAN BALE:

Date of Birth: 30 January 1974, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK

Although he was born and raised in Wales, his family is actually English. { not american ;}

He has an uncanny ear for accents - he has used a different accent for each of his films to date.

In the "Fresh Air with Terry Gross" radio interview first aired June 13, 2005, he admitted to Gross that because Batman is "such an American icon", he had decided not to perform his promotional interviews for the movie Batman Begins (2005) in his natural mixed Welsh/English accent. Instead he spoke to Gross in an almost inflection-less mid-American accent, only revealing his dialectic roots with a few words

If he plays an American character, he will use an American accent in all the interviews related to the film. He says he does this so the audience isn't confused.

Here is a message for all of you who like to challenge me: i have only been wrong two times when it comes to movie-related knowledge, so save yourself the trouble and humiliation of me proving you wrong and just accept the fact that I know my shit.

My Fellow TWIHARDS:

Due to the fact that (hopefully) the best book of the year (though i'd be happy with 2nd best after The Host) is coming out in only about 4 days, i decided to reread its predecessors. While surfing the internet, i noticed a script for Twilight. I have been a little apprehensive towards the movie based on its trailers, and was only calmed a small bit based on the trailer released at Comi-Con '08. I am very pleased to announce that I was extremely impressed with it. They obviously had to edit a lot from the book, making the feel of the Edward/Bella romance development feel a little too fast, but overall, it kept very close to the book. I didn't think I'd be quite so excited for the movie as I now am. I may even brave the Squeally, giggly fangirls to see the movie the first day. Anyway, if you check out my 'Quotes of the Day(ish)' section, you will find several quotes from Breaking Dawn that were released on Stephanie's website that i found quite entertaining and a very romantic one.
