Stolen Ideas of Sentimentallity

Memory Lane

Okay, I admit it, I stole this idea from a friend (I even copied her picture), but it sounds fun.

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Don't Mess With The Bull

Last weekend, Josh and Beck decided to go up against me and my nearly limitless knowledge of movies, actors, several books, etc. Here I will prove, yet again, that I am almost always right.

They believed that Christian Bale is American, I told them he was Welsh. They still were adament in believing me to be mistaken despite me spewing several of the facts featured tbelow.

Snippets of info on CHRISTIAN BALE:

Date of Birth: 30 January 1974, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK

Although he was born and raised in Wales, his family is actually English. { not american ;}

He has an uncanny ear for accents - he has used a different accent for each of his films to date.

In the "Fresh Air with Terry Gross" radio interview first aired June 13, 2005, he admitted to Gross that because Batman is "such an American icon", he had decided not to perform his promotional interviews for the movie Batman Begins (2005) in his natural mixed Welsh/English accent. Instead he spoke to Gross in an almost inflection-less mid-American accent, only revealing his dialectic roots with a few words

If he plays an American character, he will use an American accent in all the interviews related to the film. He says he does this so the audience isn't confused.

Here is a message for all of you who like to challenge me: i have only been wrong two times when it comes to movie-related knowledge, so save yourself the trouble and humiliation of me proving you wrong and just accept the fact that I know my shit.

My Fellow TWIHARDS:

Due to the fact that (hopefully) the best book of the year (though i'd be happy with 2nd best after The Host) is coming out in only about 4 days, i decided to reread its predecessors. While surfing the internet, i noticed a script for Twilight. I have been a little apprehensive towards the movie based on its trailers, and was only calmed a small bit based on the trailer released at Comi-Con '08. I am very pleased to announce that I was extremely impressed with it. They obviously had to edit a lot from the book, making the feel of the Edward/Bella romance development feel a little too fast, but overall, it kept very close to the book. I didn't think I'd be quite so excited for the movie as I now am. I may even brave the Squeally, giggly fangirls to see the movie the first day. Anyway, if you check out my 'Quotes of the Day(ish)' section, you will find several quotes from Breaking Dawn that were released on Stephanie's website that i found quite entertaining and a very romantic one.

Don't Mess With.....

A brannd new, white, shiny, mini-van. There is a very important message for you. I should have known this Thursday night, right before LOST as it would have saved me a sprained wrist and thumb. As i was going into McKi-Dee's, a lovely (blonde) woman was waiting (im)ptiently for her food at the drive through. Right after the food was in her possession, she decided to burn rubber without noticing the teenaged girl (me) walking right in front of her. Alright, so maybe she wasn't going that fast, but anyway, i threw out my left hand, which the van hit, which caused me to fall onto the same hand (don't ask me how, i have no idea how i was twisted. Perhaps it was the ice in the parking lot.) Anyway, the bimbo didn't even get out of her car to investigate my injuries. She rolled down her window. She said she hadn't watched where she was going. I replied something like 'Really?!?! Well, maybe you should work on that! This is about the point where sghe drove away. Unfortunately, i was a little too shockec to get her plates, but if i see a curly haired blonde driving a white minivan, i will be obligated to follow her home and egg/tp her house and car.

There's a MOOSE in my BACKYARD!

Well, I know I've been out of keystrokes for a while. For starters, I've been given an extremely sore throat and cough for an early (Anti-)Valentine's Day present. In between my rotating helpings of Lemon Tea and Muddy Buddies (an odd combination, i know, but oh! so delicious), i wandered into the kitchen to see a gi-normous thing wandering through the trees, then plopping itself in the snow. I soon came to realize that the huge, dark creature was a moose, yes, a moose. To help prove my sometimes questionable sanity, I calmly called mother into the room. It was confirmed that there was indeed a moosed laying in the snow. For some strange reason, some neighbor kids, who are younger than I, decided to scare the creature before I could get a decent (camera) shot at it. It goes crashing, yes crashing, into the Outsen's horse pasture, then, realizing its mistake, crashing back out of it. I, at this point in time, had gone outside to get a picture of it. This was not the best idea as now I was in the moose's way. The (thankfully non-horned) beast comes rather speedily in my direction, but then decides the Leishman's yard looks much safer than a 15 year old girl, armed with a digital recording device. (I may be taking a little creative liberty, but that's beside the point.) Anyway, I managed to get a rather blurry and obscured shot of it while it was in the horse pasture, so enjoy.
